Repeat Prescriptions

Patients on long-term medication who have been approved for repeat prescriptions by their doctor can re-order in a number of ways:

  • In person – drop your computerised repeat slip in the box provided having clearly marked the items required. Request forms are also available at reception.
  • By post – send it to us with a stamped addressed envelope if you want us to post it back to you.
  • Online – via our Online Service called ‘Patient Access.’ Please contact reception to get a print out of your login details. Order Your Repeat Prescription Online
  • Via a chemist – local chemists can also request on your behalf if you have made the necessary arrangements with them.

Housebound patients only can order by telephone by calling the surgery after 10:00.

Please ensure that you have sufficient supplies for 3-4 days left when you put in your request.

For queries regarding your repeat prescriptions please contact Donna McCallion (Option 2) on 0121 203 0666 after 10:00.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.

Please allow two full working days for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.
